Our beloved father, Richard V. Russell, 79, of <https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/local/utah/lehi> Lehi, UT passed away on February 20, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Richard Russell was born to George and Twila Russell in Mt. Pleasant, UT. He spent his early childhood years in Nephi, UT before moving to Henderson, NV at the age of eight, where he later graduated from Basic High School, class of 1963. After the boys were raised and graduated, mom and dad built their dream home in Wallsburg, UT, a small town nestled in the mountains, surrounded by wildlife and farms. Living there for over 20 years, Wallsburg became our family's safe place Dad had many hobbies and trades and was truly gifted with his hands. He was well known for his love of mechanics and for being highly skilled in antique car restorations. Dad owned numerous cars throughout the years and spent countless hours in the garage. Some of his cars included a 1932 Ford Model A, 1939 Willys, 1955 Chevy pickup (Scott's truck), 1956 Chevy pickup (Doug's truck), Two 1956 Bel Air convertibles, 1956 Nomad, 1957 Corvette, 1956 T-Bird, 1957 Bel Air hard top, and a 1957 Chevy pickup Fleetside. Dad frequented many car shows and won awards, Mainly for his 1956 Bel Air convertible with its pristinely clean, pale yellow or muck in yuk (as dad called it) interior and black exterior. Dad loved attending parades and driving the beauty queens around on the back of his car. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will remain forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. www.avast.com
