Greetings Everyone…
Well, It is so nice to get back into events and finally see everyone again.. It has been way too long of a Winter time off. It looks like so many have put their time to good use and worked on their “rides” and some have added to their collection.. Special THANKS to those who could attend, and I hope those who missed some, will be able to join in again when they can.
We just returned from Carquest in Roosevelt, (Wonderful Weather-NOT). BUT, When the great people at Carquest hosts a show,, you need to check out the super Sales they have, this past weekend, 25% off all store merchandise, trust me, we took advantage of that and bought a bunch of goodies for our 30th Annual Back to the 50’s Car Show in Heber June 25th, Heber City Park, 200s Main St.
Speaking of Carquest,, Saturday May 14th Jason and his team are hosting a Grand re-opening FREE Car show in the parking lot of the Heber City Store, 434n Main ST. Free Registration, Great Saving on store items, and even more fun than last year! It will be a great time to stock up on parts or car “necessities” you just can’t live without !
This week, we have a bunch of FREE fun Cruise Nights planned,, Tuesday Garage Grill in DRAPER, Wednesday BurgerStop in LayTon, Thursday Valley Fair Mall, West Valley City.. and then … OFF TO MOAB for another FREE Cruise Night at Clarks Carquest in Moab, then Saturday the Annual April Action Car Show in Moab City Park.. there will be a few little changes in the Moab Show this year, but I am very happy they are back !!!!. Come and enjoy the hospitality Moab is Known for!
SAD NEWS TIME, We have lost so many friends recently, and this one hits home hard. Lew Garfield has been battling Cancer for years, gave it a darn good fight, always a very positive attitude, always super fun, happy and friendly.. He has also been a very close family friend for way over 30 years.. My real Brother passed away when I was an infant, so Lew kinda stepped in and filled his shoes. Many of us gave him the name of MacGyver because he could fix anything.. Well, anything except Cancer. Cancer finally took Lew away from us on Wednesday April 20th, While most of us were at Shake Shack, Heaven gained a great Mechanic, Fixer, Cruiser, and all around great Guy, We will all miss Lew, his smile and laugh were infectious.. While we are all so very sad to lose Lew,, We have to think of Diana, and the family.. Lew did everything for them.. They will be so lost not having him by their side.. Please give them all the thoughts and consideration you can,, As of today, no service arrangements have been made,, I will be sure to email. Post of pass on the information as it becomes available. Gods Blessings on Lew and his loved ones,, and of course, His FAMILY OF FRIENDS!
