** Sorry to pass long some very sad news ** Dave Thorpe has passed away from Cancer. I am so glad we all had the opportunity to have a little get together for Dave recently A sincere "Thank You" to all who attended or reached out to Dave and Nora. Please keep the Thorpe family, and Family of Friends in your thoughts and prayers Dave will be missed by all who knew him, Especially his Family of FRIENDS I will miss our constant "discussion" about . David Keith Thorpe 1950 ~ 2021 Herriman, UT-David Keith Thorpe, an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was born June 29, 1950 in Murray, Utah to James (Jim) and Sarah Ruth Thorpe. He later married his sweetheart, Nora (Hunt) Bunting, Dave and Nora created a wonderful family during the 56 years they spent together. Dave is proceeded in death by his parents Jim and Ruth, brother Ray, and sister Diane. He is survived by his brother Dick, wife Nora, children Sherry (Gary) Martinez, David Lee, Justin (Jen), Casey (Adrian), Jeh (Bobbie), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The viewing will be held Monday, December 27th at Memorial Redwood Mortuary (6500 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville) from 7:00-9:00PM. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, December 28th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (13375 S 6000 W, Herriman) from 12:00-2:00PM. There will also be a viewing from 11:00AM-12:00PM at the church building prior to the funeral. A graveside dedication will follow the funeral at Memorial Redwood Mortuary.
