Wow, how do I recap events last weekend? This is where you truthfully had to be there to believe it. The 30th Annual Wells Fun Run is in the books,, and it goes down in history as one of their best! The Theme was “Stayin Alive” and that we certainly did! When we promote the Wells show, we say, you wont come home the same! Just ask anyone that has attended, It is as much fun as anyone can pack into 3 days,, Slow Drags, Fireworks, Poker Run to Beautiful and COLD Angel Lake, Burn-outs, Drag Racing, Street Dance, Great raffle prizes, and The infamous Wells Fire department always close by with a fully staffed, fully stocked “Beverage Wagon”. The concessions are always the best, (try the Corn Dogs!) Just about all Hotels/Motels book out early, The Staff/Management/Family of the Wells Fun Run, The High Desert Cruisers Well deserve a pat on the back, and as much appreciation as possible for a great show. That being said,, it would NOT be a show, without YOU, the attendees. THANK YOU so very much.. so,, Take a few aspirins,, sit back and wonder.. WHAT JUST HAPPENED? Wells is already planning for number 31, this event just keep getting better and better.. THANKS TO YOU !

Yes, We realize that there are shows closer, Yes, there are free shows, , However, We would like you to know, your support of this event for the past 27 years is very much appreciated,, no matter how many times you have attended… A new feature in recent years is the Friday Night Welcome party.. it’s “Pot-Luck” style, the club provides Burgers and hot dogs, we bring “other stuff”, get to know some great people,, and make more memories…. The Evanston Bunch is planning a fantastic show this next Saturday.. and PARKING ON THE GRASS, This is THE ORIGINAL EVANSTON CAR SHOW, Always has been, Always will be! Thanks to all, for their Support for 27 fantastic years!
** This event really make a big difference for the kids in Evanston, ALL Proceeds from the show are donated directly to the program, MUCH Thanks to everyone who have attended in recent years, $60.000 has been raised, The Evanston Car Club takes kids directly to stores and lets then purchase much needed winter clothing, The Car Club also contributes funds to the local.. “Shop with a Cop” Program.. As you can see, this is a very community minded and dedicated bunch of Car enthusiasts! Your attendance is greatly appreciated; We make a little fun at “get out of your zip code” but this event really makes a difference to me.. I watch them struggle to do what they do. They believe in community,…. and they really are GOOD CAR PEOPLE.
