ITALIAN CENTER OF THE WEST FREE LECTURES & PRESENTATIONS SERIES Wednesday May 20, 7:30 -9:00 pm Please bring some finger food to share MY RECENT INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFICES OF THE CITY OF TURIN, Italy A PRESENTATION BY Adam Vaughn Adam Vaughn recently graduated from USU, Logan. He spent Fall Semester 2008 in Turin, Italy, for an Internship program approved by USU in collaboration with the City of Turin. This connection was established through the Sister Cities Committee of Salt Lake City and its Turin counterpart "Citta’ Gemelle". Adam was already fluent in the Italian language because of his previous 2-year stay in Italy. This language skill was critical for him to be able to take advantage of this internship experience, in various departments of the City of Turin administration. In this presentation, aided by lively Power Point texts and images, he will tell us about his experience in a different and exiting cultural context.
