On Saturday, Feb 27, Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. will attempt to outdo our 2008 record of 300 

Parmigiano Reggiano wheels cracked simultaneously!

Have you ever had parm from a  fresh cut wheel? There is nothing like it! Our Parm Crack will take place at 1 pm and we’ll have free delicious samples, 

recipes, and fun from 1 – 3 pm.

Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is made in small batches using artisanal methods in accordance with the stringent quality standards of the Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano.

With a documented history dating back almost 1000 years, only Parmesan made in one area of Northern Italy — the rolling hills and green pastures comprising Reggio Emilia, Parma, Modena and portions of Bologna and Mantua — can bear the name Parmigiano Reggiano.

We source our Parmesan from 4 family farms in these provinces that supply our entire company.
