"Milan, an Austrian city inside Italy"

25 centuries from the Gauls to Versace. Milan used to be the capitol of the Roman Empire, after Rome.
An independent, proud and powerful republic, was hated by Frederick Barbarossa.

The Duke of Milan created the biggest Renaissance court in the Western world, bigger than Florence and
Rome, hiring Bramente and Leonardo as his masters of cerimony. After the French, spanish and austrian
domination, it became the economic engine of the nation and the most famous place for the fashion system.
