Dr. Tony Pellegrini, will be conducting a Study Abroad experience for students to Italy during Spring Break (March 9-19, 2012) If you have ever wanted to explore Rome and the culture and heritage associated with it, this is a wonderful opportunity. College credit at both the undergraduate and graduate level will be offered. Some of the activities which have been planned include, but are not limited to:
Activities:
• Guided tour of Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona
• Observe American Overseas School using Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education
• Guided Tour of Borghese Art Gallery
• Observe Montessori approach in local school system
• Provide day of service to local charity
• Guided Tour of Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica
• Visit La Sapienza University’s Department of Educational Science to review General Educational Delivery in Italy
• Observe public primary school
• Guided tour of the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill
Cost = $2,974, double occupancy, plus airfare (University credit included in price)
