You’ve seen his films, "My Private Italy," "Postcards from Italy.” and "My Private Italy," experiencing firsthand the wonders Italy. Now you can experience Italy in way only a documentary filmmkaer can: first hand, up close and personal. Steven has a B.A. in Broadcast Communications, with an  emphasis in Educational and Instructional media design. He owns his own production company, Creative Light Productions. He is a Salt Lake filmmaker, director, cinematographer and editor and  has worked on hundreds of projects as a writer, editor, director, and photographer. Steven has completed 3 full-length documentaries on the people, places and cultures of Italy, “Bringing Home Sardinia”, “Postcards from Italy,”  and “My Private Italy.” He loves Italy, speaks Italian and returns to Italy as often as he can.  Steve has filmed in over 20 countries on 5 continents.

Italy internships June 3 June 30, 201
 
looking for interns to work on a television series in Italy.  Positions include writers, assistant videographers, assistant still photographers, assistant editors, assistant location sound recordists and production assistants. This will be an excellent opportunity to get practical experience and improve production skills and get credit on a television series. You will explore the means and methods for telling meaningful and thought provoking stories and the current technologies available to the filmmaker to tell those stories. Filming locations will include Tuscany and Le Marche.

Cost $4500:
Cost includes airfare, lessons and accommodation. Does not include meals or college credits.

University of Utah students, students at other colleges or universities, alumni and qualified individuals are welcome to apply.
