I just heard from a reliable source that the Law Enforcement Rangers are planning on being out at Great Salt Lake State Park tomorrow (Sunday) to check for expired boat registrations and proper display of current stickers. It is not enough to register your boat each year. You must also have your stickers properly attached to the hull of the boat. If your boat is in the parking lot you should have no problems but if your boat is in the water they will be checking them. I don't know if they will write warnings or citations for expired registrations or failure to display. The Law Enforcement Rangers are now a separate Division. If your boat registration is expired or your current stickers aren't on the boat, please don't email me. There is nothing I can do about it. I wish I had more time to warn everyone to be prepared but I'm just hearing about this myself. Yet, I warn of this every year so it shouldn't be a surprise that the Rangers will come out to look for compliance. Dave
