GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users, The parking lot striping has been postponed till Tuesday. Current forecasts show a hard freeze coming October 23rd. This means the water may be turned off for the season by October 22nd. I will keep you posted but please plan accordingly. The GSLYC Race Chair has asked me to pass on the following information regarding the upcoming Pumpkin Patch: Hi Everyone, The 2011 Pumpkin Patch Race will be held on Saturday, the 22nd of October. Skippers meeting at 1200hrs and a race start of 1300hrs. There will be a time deduction for any crew that are ALL in costumes - (awards for best crew) There will also be a time deduction for any boat that finishes Stern first (CAUTION: Any boat attempting this awesome feat will not have right of way) just bragging rights! This will give everyone time to finish the race and go up for lunch at the Halloween party at 4:30pm.
