With so many boats back in the water there is so much that can be done again. This weekend the Yacht Club is hosting Opening Day ceremonies. This includes 10am skippers meeting / 11:30 buoy races / 1pm RC Sailboat Racing / 3:30pm Opening Day prayer / 4pm Blessing of the fleet to begin at the end of K dock. / 5:30pm Kentucky Derby Social sand Dinner. (There will be no dredging work this Saturday so you can get out all day for sailing, racing. Wednesday Night Racing starts Wednesday, May 10th at 6pm. June 10th is the Harbor Master Eardley Spit Cruise. More information to follow but put the date on your calendar. June 16-18 is SAILFEST. Also, with all this water coming our way, all those traditional anchorages around the lake are becoming accessible again. This includes Indian Bay, Cradle Bay, Crystal Bay, White Rock Bay, Pass Canyon Springs, and others.
