It is that time again. Time for the largest cruise gathering on America's Inland Sea! The Harbormaster's Eardley Spit Cruise. Saturday, June 9th we sail for the spit. Meet at the marina patio at 10:30am for a quick briefing; especially if you've never navigated to the spit before. It is a fairly straight forward sail but it is also easy to get too far to one side or the other when passing through the Grantsville Narrows (the area between the spit and Black Rock Reef). Right after that we depart for the spit. Please plan on your own transportation from your boats to the spit as we are a tad short on volunteers to help shuttle people back and forth. I will have the main course of Brats but please bring a side to share if you can. Beach games will be set up. BYOB. For those that want to stay overnight the anchorage is usually quite protected and sound holding for the anchors. Please RSVP so I know how many people are coming and how much food to prepare for.
