We have done it! The lake has come up 2 feet since last year's low! That is what the lake would come up on a normal year before dropping two feet from summer evaporation! And our snowpack is still up there in those thar mountains. We are on track to come up at least another foot and possibly two feet if this wet spell continues. Because of the March and April moisture we are now nearly on par with the phenomenal 2011 water season where we came up 5 feet and only went down about 1.5 feet. This news means it MAY be possible for almost every boat in the marina right now to get out on the lake ALL year. We need to hope for a wet and cool May and then have the snow come down late May and into June. Things are really looking up this year. It is nice to see the Catalina 30's getting out on the water again. Dave Shearer Harbor Master Great Salt Lake State Marina 801-250-1898 [DNR Parks Logo]
