We are looking at the possibility of moving Crane Day to December 1st and I need to know if this will work for people. The reasons we are thinking of doing this are as follows. * The breach of the railroad causeway WILL be on December 1st. If we have a weather event on December 2nd that shuts down the crane we may start losing our window of opportunity to pull boats. * We have multiple boats scheduled for crane day. We WILL NOT run the crane past 5pm since we will lose daylight. This means we may (or likely) have to run crane day into another day. We will have to pay for overtime if we run into Saturday. * I am running into some difficulty getting all the help we need for each craning station on Friday. I may have more luck on Thursday. And, if we run on Thursday, I will only need one crane on Friday, which means less help needed. Also, I could use a few extra bodies to help with crane day. If you are willing to help out please let me know. Please let me know how moving the crane day to Thursday, December 1st would affect you.
