Well, as most of you are aware of by now, our road to the marina was damaged in the earthquake last Spring. As time went on the failures became worse. We have initiated the first round of repairs to stabilize the road. But the repairs were started too late to get asphalt on the road. This will mean we will be contending with road base all winter until asphalt can be laid back down this Spring. There are some humps at the transition areas between pavement and road base. Also the road base is going to be more difficult to plow so please use extra caution when driving on the road this winter. Thanks Dave
