October is just around the corner. This usually begins the windy season for the Great Salt Lake. October through April is our windiest time of year here with the area going through storm front season. Please make sure your boats are properly secured the dock lines in good condition. Make sure your furlers are wound tightly and secured. Make sure canopies, dodgers, biminis and other loose objects are secured properly. And, even if you are not planning on using your boats much during the winter season, don't forget to check on your boats on a regular basis.
