Well National Weather Forecast just released their newest prediction for this spring and summer regarding precipitation. It is very good news for moisture but may dampen spring sailing plans. Now take their forecast with a grain of salt as they are very often wrong on their long-term predictions. But they are showing that the Great Salt Lake drainage system is finally out of a drought. El Nino is paying off. And they are predicting it is very likely we will have a much wetter-than-normal spring and summer. For the first time in a LONG time they show us in the dark green zone which (to them) means odds are very high for a much wetter-than-normal pattern throughout this spring, summer and into next fall. Let us hope they are correct. [https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/predictions/long_range/lead01/off01_p...]
