Fellow Sailors and Yacht Club Members, Alas, the sun is shinning and temperatures are rising (and so is the water) and Saturday is going to be a GREAT DAY! The Great Salt Lake Yacht Club is hoisting its traditional OPENING DAY celebration. Activities begin with a 1000 hrs Captains Meeting on the patio. At 1100 hrs boats will organiize on the Lake for preparation to parade through the marina; LeRoy Carter will offer a prayer to start the season off right. Rescue One will lead the parade back to the marina at 1200 hrs where those who desire to have their boats blessed by LeRoy can do so. Our Opening Day Laua Social begins at 1700 hrs.
