Of course, brine shrimping is an actual job, whereas cleaning spiders off of boat decks is just a pastime, so it might not qualify. ________________________________ From: Dezi Hemingway [mailto:DHemingway@slco.org] Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 3:58 PM To: Koci, Doug Subject: RE: [GSL-Marina] Dirty Jobs Spiders would be awesome! ________________________________ From: doug.koci@sungard.com [mailto:doug.koci@sungard.com] Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 3:33 PM To: Dezi Hemingway; gsl-marina@mailman.xmission.com Subject: RE: [GSL-Marina] Dirty Jobs How about cleaning spiders off of boat decks?!?! ________________________________ From: gsl-marina-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:gsl-marina-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Dezi Hemingway Sent: Monday, June 30, 2008 3:21 PM To: gsl-marina@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [GSL-Marina] Dirty Jobs Hi Dave, I was watching Dirty Jobs on tv and Mike Rowe was soliciting ideas for the show. Do you think that doing a show on harvesting brine shrimp harvesting would be up his alley? If you have conversations with the biologists and shrimpers, and, if you feel inclined, run the idea by them and see if they think they would like to have Mike Rowe and his Dirty Jobs crew do a show on them. I think it would be a good one! Dezi Hemingway dhemingway@slco.org
