Interested in GSL, pelicans, migration, birds...? Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/330120757806953/ Path of the Pelicans Did you know? American White Pelicans have been found as high as 30,000 feet during migration. Many pelicans travel far into Mexico to their wintering grounds. Eastern and western pelican populations regularly interact, they don't stay in one flyway. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) has been following the movements and behaviors of pelicans with the help of solar powered GPS backpacks since 2014. Russ Norvell, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Avian Conservation Program Coordinator will present their findings and give us more insight into the lives of American White Pelicans. Free and open to the public. September 20, 2018 Time 7:00 - 8:30 pm Gore Business School Auditorium at Westminster College (Building 4 https://www.westminstercollege.edu/about/campus-map) We will also live-stream on the Great Salt Lake Institute Facebook page Thanks!
