I saw my first Bald Eagle of the season at the marina today. Why is that significant? Sighting Bald Eagles at the Great Salt Lake Marina is a common sight from late December through mid-February. I don't remember ever seeing one this early in the winter. Does this mean we may have a cold and active weather pattern? National Weather Service still is predicting equal chance of being wet or dry through the winter. Put the jet stream is going to push several small storms over us for the next few weeks. Our snowpack jumped from 34% of normal just a few days ago to 90% of normal today. I still feel we are facing an upward struggle with lake levels this winter and spring. But there is some hope. Dave
