Our next Great Salt Lake community event is fast approaching. It is the annual Harbor Master Polar Bear Cup Race/Cruise and Clam Chowder Social. Saturday, January 27th. Skippers Meeting 9:30am at the marina pavilion Start near the Deep Channel Buoys R2 and G1 at 10:30am for the race. This is a fun race that will be approximately 2 miles long. Cruisers welcome to come play with the racers. Please let me know if you are planning on racing so we can get an accurate count for the race committee Clam Chowder Social at 1pm at the Harbor Master's deck (aka - Trestle Dock) unless the weather is inclement. IF the weather is inclement we will hold the social at the YC Room. I will provide a pot of clam chowder but if you have your own favorite recipe or another side dish please bring it out to share. There is a fire pit over by Trestle Dock so you can stay warm while feasting on clam chowder. This social is open to the whole marina community.
