As I reported to all of you, the last wind storm a few weeks ago did some damage in the marina. Much of the damage was caused by loose objects. As an example someone's dock stairs to their boat blew loose and hit the window of the shop causing it to break and shattering the stairs. I mention this because we have two more strong wind events barreling down on us. The first one will hit Thursday and the next one looks to hit the first of next week. We are going to start taking a harder stance on objects on the docks. Any loose objects on the docks will be removed now. We also had a boat dismasted in that storm. Please take a moment to make sure your boats and property are secured. If your dock lines are old please replace them. Spring is windy season at the Great Salt Lake Marina.
