There is a lot of pressure from the marina community to have a crane day and start getting boats back in the water. So I am scheduling a Crane Day for Wednesday, March 30th With that being said I need to clarify a few things before people commit. First: I do not know where we stand on dredging. We are still waiting a decision from Army Corp. If they approve the plans we could be dredging in a few months. If they don't we could possibly be starting from scratch. Second: It is still too early to know what the snowpack will end up at and how much the lake will rise or drop this year. NOAA is still forecasting a wetter-than-normal spring. But this has been a strange weather pattern for the last month and I will believe it when we start seeing storms again. So it is possible that, if you go back in on March 30th, you may have to come back out next fall. I don't think it is real likely that you will have to pull back out but you need to understand that it is a possibility. The mouth of the marina is now 4' deep and increasing rapidly in depth. The south basin is deep enough for four foot draft boats. I will not be placing any boats in the north west basin until dredging is complete. So now that you know where we stand I am taking reservations for crane day for boats that draw 4 feet or less. I want to concentrate on boats with trailers first. I will need to borrow some of those trailers to get other boats without trailers in the water. If you want to confirm for crane day please email me. I am only doing crane day by reservation only.
