Well it is almost here! The biggest cruise and beach party of the year. The mouth is deep enough that anyone with a draft of four feet or less should still be able to make it. If you have a draft deeper than four feet it may be a struggle. For those with deeper draft boats we may have a way for you to still get out to Eardley Spit. I have made arrangements with Exclusive Excursions to take people out in the morning and shuttle them back in later in the afternoon. Departure times would be at set times so you would have to be ready at the scheduled times. Seating is limited so you need to RSVP if you want to take advantage of this mode of transportation. SO PLEASE RSVP SOON. Also, it is time for me to put together the shopping list. The theme this year will, once again, be Nathan's Hot Dogs. These were tasty last year and are the easiest to do. But I need to start getting RSVP's for who is going to the Spit, whether it is by the tour boats or your own boat. So, if you are going to the Eardley Spit Beach Party please start RSVP's now. Side dishes will be welcome. And, of course, BYOB. The long term look for that weekend is in the low 80's and partly cloudy. Thanks Dave
