Fellow Boaters and GSL Aficionados, There will NOT be a Great Salt Lake Yacht Club seminar this Wednesday, February 29 (aka, Leap Day). The seminars will resume on March 7 with Dave Shearer, GSL Marina and Antelope Island Marina Harbor Master, discussing boating and boating safety at the Great Salt Lake. The following weeks will have Bryant Pratt presenting Quick & Dirty Navigation on the Great Salt Lake (Mar. 14), then The Salt Sisters present their adventures in, on and around the Great Salt Lake (Mar. 21). There may be a bonus seminar on Mar. 28 -- stay tuned! The sessions are being held in the Safety Consortium training room, located at 400 W Lawndale Dr. (2500 S) in South Salt Lake. To get to the Safety Consortium building, go to 300 West at 21st. or 27th. South, then go south or north to Lawndale Dr. (2500 S, just south of the I-80 overpass), turn west and drive to 400 W Lawndale Dr. on right side of the road (Lawndale curves to the south).
