The monsoonal thunderstorms of summer will soon depart to be followed by the traditional fall and winter frontal patterns. In fact the first front is approaching us as I type this. It is on schedule to hit sometime tomorrow afternoon with substantially strong southerly winds. Have you checked your dock lines lately? Have you secured your genoas? Have you secured sail and boat covers? Have you tied down the lawn furniture and pets? Check your dock lines. Make sure they are in good shape. Dock lines tend to start breaking down from the inside out. It is a good idea to change your lines every two years.
