Weather Update GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users. We have just had a report from Promontory Point of at least six funnel cloud sightings. None of these funnel clouds made contact with the ground. This is associated with the approaching front. Current charts don't appear to show the Great Salt Lake marina in any unusual threat at this time but I did want to pass this information on. What affects Promontory does not always affect the Marina. We do have large waves now and there is substantial wind up the lake.
