Racers, Here's what we've been waiting for! The first weekend races of the Spring Regatta Series are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17. Skippers' meetings will held each day on the covered patio at 1030 hrs. There will be up to 3 buoy races each day with racing starting at 1200. Starts will be at "C" mark and courses will be posted on the RC boat course board. Narragansett will be the committee boat. The number of starts for each race will be determined from the participation count at the skippers meeting. Scoring will be by fleet using PHRF time-on-distance time correction. There will be a post-race meeting to announce results on the patio (and don't forget Dave's "Sunspot" party at 1700). Signed up for Race Committee duty for two events If you need to take care of any of these requirements, please do so before the skippers meeting. Race Committee will be in the YC office from 1000. If you need to signup for RC duty, go to www.GSLYC.org, click on Racing, click on Committee Boat Schedule, pick two events that are open and send an e-mail to Darin Christensen (webmaster@gslyc.org) with your choices.
