We should have six feet of water in the mouth right now. But the last three storms brought strong north winds and current. It appears this has caused substantial silting in the mouth. I will be going out and doing soundings tomorrow but I know several boats having trouble getting out if they have drafts of 4 feet or more. I will let you know what I found. I'm not sure what we can do in the short term but State Lands is still planning on dredging here soon. The last time table I heard was late summer to early Fall. Again, I will keep you posted. Dave
Dave, Second Wind has a 5.2 draft, we tried to get out Friday night, the sand bar had moved even closer in at less then 4 feet, we had trouble turning around and went back to slip, Sad to say my sailing is over with plenty of depth in the marina and outside of the marina. this can be solved with a few hours work with a long stick backhoe.

I’m not sure how accurate my depth gauge is, but I was measuring 3.8 ft. Fred seadog
