Dear 'K' dock slip renters We have recently discovered an issue with the 'K' dock power that is related to the past storm damage to 'K' dock. This has created a safety issure for ALL of 'K' dock and therefore we have disconnected the power to the dock. We are working rapidly to resolve this issue. I do not have an honest time frame for you on getting the power back up but my wish is within a few days. We are sorry for this inconvenience and hope to resolve it rapidly. For those on 'K' dock, you may wish to check your boats regularly. If you must have power we will try to accomodate you on another dock. We do not have enough slips to accomodate all though. No other docks are affected. In researching our power problem, though, we have discoverd almost a dozen boats with unsafe cords to their boats. These are cords rated too small, cords draped in the water, cords with exposed wires. In the future, vessels with improper or unsafe cords or cords draped in the water will be disconnected and removed. It is a safety issue and can create metal-integrity problems for surrounding vessels. This affects all power docks. Thank you, GSL Harbormaster
