The dredgers have spent the last three days working from the marina mouth out to the first navigation buoys (R12, G11). The hump just outside the marina mouth that used to be about 5.6 feet deep now appears to be about 7.5 feet deep. But a word of caution; We have only done preliminary surveying of this area. It has not been thoroughly surveyed yet so please still use caution when exiting the marina mouth. There is still much dredging work that needs to be done and the dredgers are on a tight clock now. So please continue to be cooperative with their time table and efforts so we can get all dredging done and the marina put back together ASAP. I will attempt to do a more complete survey of the marina mouth this evening when dredging has completed for the night.
