We have gone to the landfill in the past to get our mulch and have been pretty happy with the results. They charge $35 for what they say is "about two cubic yards". In reality, they scoop up much more than any full-sized truck can handle and then let it rain down over the bed of your truck. You end up driving away with whatever stays in your truck.
