The water is very low at the marina now.  If you have a fixed keel boat you will likely not be able to use the launch ramp anymore.  It is too shallow for fixed keels.

Also, negative storm surge can affect your ability to get in or out of the marina now.  Any vessel with a draft of four feet or more should decide carefully whether to go out anymore until sometime in December.  Even a small storm surge may trap you outside the marina.

Now for a bit of good news.  We have a very wet storm heading our way.  With it will come cooler temperatures.  This helps mitigate how much the lake drops.   It already looks as if we will not drop as much as originally forecasted.  And it is predicted to be a wetter and cooler fall than normal.
