We have some microburst activity crossing the lake this afternoon. One microburst caused minimal damage to the marina. So far it only effected one boat.

We are now entering a season of active thunderstorm and microburst activity. Please make sure your sails and boats are thoroughly secured. Make sure you have no loose property around your boat or in storage that can become a dangerous projectile. Remember, we have had these in the past. These projectiles have done damage to personal property and could cause serious bodily injury or death if someone was struck.
