GSL / Antelope Slip Renters and Marina Users

Below is a link to story in the Salt Lake Tribune that has potential serious ramifications for all who use the Great Salt Lake.

It is in regards to Union Pacific wanting to fill in the west breach and the two culverts in the causeway and build a new bridge.

I will not express any opinion on this proposal at this time.  But I recommend all, who use and care about Great Salt Lake, to become educated on this issue.

I have known about much of this proposal for a few years now.  But this article touches on a few issues that were not in the original proposal and I was not aware of them.

The Army Corps has signed off on the proposal and Union Pacific is planning on starting the fill of the west breach this fall.
