After a year off we are going to, once again, revive the Great Salt Lake Field Trip Series.

The Field Trip Series allows you to experience other areas of the lake rather than just the Great Salt Lake Marina and the water just outside the marina.

Our first field trip will take us back to Antelope Island.  This is a great opportunity to check out their visitor center, view the abundant wildlife (including bison, eagles, deer, antelope and big horn sheep), tour the island and then finish at the Ranch House where we will have a short lecture about ranching on the island and a self guided tour of this historic ranch house.

We will also have a lunch picnic at the ranch house.

And I recommend, after your tour of the Island, you head a few miles north to the Hill AFB museum.  It is ranked as the best in the nation.
