Wow!!!! That storm last night and early this morning was HUGE on direct precipitation. I don't think I've seen a heavier, long lasting downpour on Great Salt Lake. We received well over an inch of direct precipitation. March has really delivered! We usually receive 1.91 inches of rain this month. We received 3.21 inches as of midnight last night with today's totals not on the board yet. This is phenomenal. It reminds me of 1983. But we are still not out of the woods. We need a great April and May too. But I like the trend. I advise you all to check your boats this weekend. Boats notoriously leak. Scuppers get clogged in the winter with sand and other debris. We have had enough rain to put some boats in danger of flooding. Please check your boats. Dave Dave Shearer Harbor Master Great Salt Lake State Marina 801-250-1898 [DNR Parks Logo]
