GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users A strong pacific storm system is approaching the Great Salt Lake. This storm has the potential to bring significant wind, sizeable waves, lightning and poor visibility to the Great Salt Lake area. The storm will be preceded by south winds and will switch to the norwest by mid afternoon. This storm will last into Christmas day and will be followed by another larger storm on Wednesday. We will try to keep you updated on storm damage and snow totals (if we don't loose power again) as they develop. We highly discourage small boating on the Great Salt Lake for the next few days.
