On May 21 the club will host its first Junior Sailing Event of the 2016 season. Our day starts at 10:00am with 2 hours of classroom and dockside instruction. We will break for lunch at noon (provided by the Yacht Club) and then get the kids on the water by 1:00pm for hands on training in the clubs boats. Our day will end with a watermelon feast on the Yacht Club Pavilion at approximately 3:30pm. Cost for the Saturday learn to sail day is only $15 per kid and includes lunch and a graduation certificate.

The program is open to all kids 8-15 years old - Yacht Club membership is not required. Spaces are limited so pre-registration is required by emailing tadams1060@hotmail.com

Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are recommended. Bring your own life jacket if you have one - otherwise loaners are available (but the kids always prefer their own life jackets, rather than the loaners).
