GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users.

Promontory Marina was hit with very strong winds and possibly a tornado last night.  They have sustained damage.  The Harbor Master for Promontory suspects that some debris from the marina may have blown into the lake.  Much of this debris is floating debris.  If the debris made it into the lake it will be carried into the main body of the lake by the Bear River current and could create a hazard to navigation.  Be extra vigilant for the next few weeks when venturing out.  Report any debris you may encounter so that it can be removed.

The power to the Great Salt Lake Marina will be out all day tomorrow.  This is being done so that we can replace the main power transformer.  Sorry for the late notice.
