To the Great Salt Lake Marina community,
We have some updates on dredging. Once again, our meeting will be this SATURDAY, January 24th at the Great Salt Lake Marina at 1:45pm
I will plan on filling you in on what I know at this point. After that, if dredging is going to happen It is going to be up to all of YOU! I can’t express how important that each of you become part of the process on ensuring that dredging happens. Please plan on attending the meeting on SATURDAY. It shouldn’t take too long. Go sailing afterwards if you can. Make a day of it.
I cannot express how important this is. With our snow pack numbers right now it is very possible we will have a small net-loss on lake level by September. Without dredging it could be a shorter season than last year. I must stress that we still have enough months to turn the water level equation around and NOAA is predicting a wetter than normal February through May.
Come early on SATURDAY. Be here at 1pm for the Harbor Master Clam Chowder party.
Hope to see ALL of you there.
Thank you.
Dave
