The Yacht Club is hosting a very historical race this weekend.  It is also Memorial Day weekend and so many of you, now that you are back in the water, may choose to head out for a holiday weekend sail.  So here is your forecast, from the National Weather Service, for the Great Salt Lake area.

 

Today: Scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Partly sunny, with highs mainly in the middle 60s. North northwest wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with lows mostly in the upper 40s. North wind between 6 and 8 mph. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with highs mostly in the middle 60s. East wind 5 to 8 mph becoming north northwest. 

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with lows mainly in the lower 50s. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southeast. 

Sunday: Sunny, with highs mostly in the lower 70s. Southeast wind at 7 mph becoming north northwest. 

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with lows mainly in the middle 50s. 

Memorial Day: Sunny, with highs mostly in the middle 70s. 

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with lows mostly in the middle 50s.
