The sailing season started out great with very good compliance on navigation lights.  But lately compliance has become a real problem.  The rangers have informed me that they will be conducting regular patrols down this way checking on navigation lights compliance.

Remember that navigation lights are required to be on from sunset to sunrise.  Failure to have them on may well result in a citation.

If you do not have navigation lights do not sail past sunset.  If your navigation lights don’t work don’t go out past sunset.
