The 9th and final session of the 2011 edition of the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club's FREE Sailing Seminars series is scheduled for this Saturday, April 2, from noon to about 2:00 PM at the Great Salt Lake State Marina. Take Exit 104 (Saltair) off I-80 or go west on Ut. Hwy. 201 (21st. So. Fwy.) and Hwy 202 to Saltair, then proceed west to the marina. The lecture will be on the covered patio, west of the restrooms. The park entrance fee has been waived for the seminar.

This session's topic is Heavy Weather Sailing on the Great Salt Lake. The speaker will be Dave Shearer, Harbor Master of the G.S.L. Marina. There will be about an hour of lecture and then demonstrations on a boat at the service dock.
