GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users

 

Our very dear friend and fellow Great Salt Laker, Don Lucas, died this morning peacefully in his sleep.

 

Don fought a courageous year long battle with cancer.  With all his pain he never lost his positive attitude and good nature.

 

Don was the winner of the Bill Garcia Memorial Award this year.  An award in recognition of an outstanding acheavement or contribution to the sport of sailing in Utah.

A small tribute and moment of silence will be recognized in Don's honor during the Turkey Fest at the Great Salt Lake Marina Saturday, November 21st.
