The very first Annual FIRST SAIL event is just around the corner.  Monday, New Year’s Day is FIRST SAIL.  Come out on your water craft and enjoy the first venture on the Great Salt Lake for the 2018 season!

Captain/Crew meeting around 9:30am at the marina pavilion.  Followed by the first sail or venture on the lake.  If the wind is calm we can do a raft-up and enjoy some munchies and maybe a warm beverage on the lake.  Then it is back to the yacht club to warm up and enjoy some hot soup/chowder/chili.

If you think you are likely to come out and have a boat that may be able to take others let me know.

If you would like to go out but do not have the means to get on the water let me know and we will try to find a ride for you.

Your FIRST SAIL forecast is for mostly sunny skies and a high of about 40.

It also looks like the first part of January will be likely dry to be followed by a much stormier pattern for the rest of January.
