Spectators will want to gather at the marina pavilion or on "E" dock for the best view of the fun and spectacular sinkings. Please have life jackets on your kids who are participating. Registration 10:30 am Skippers Meeting and launching 10:45 am Awards Ceremony 11:30 am Trophies for First Place, Most Amazing (Unique or Original) Boat Design and finally, the Most Spectacular Sinking! NOTE - YOU are responsible for removing your boat and all cardboard from the lake and getting it to the dumpster *** UPDATED*** Learn to Row Learn to Row, sponsored by the GSL Rowing Association Sign up at the Yacht Club Pavilion - because of the limited seats on their boats, you will need to sign up for different times during the day - sign up early for the best choice of times during the day ***UPDATED*** Friends of the Great Salt Lake Friends of the Great Salt Lake will be at the Yacht Club Pavilion all day with literature and educational hands on activities for kids. Great educational opportunity for the whole family! Without the efforts of THIS organization to save the GSL, there is a very good chance we would not have a lake to sail on. Please come learn about their efforts and how we can support them as a sailing community. *** UPDATED*** Children's Activites 12:00 - 4:00 pm Located on the lawn. All-afternoon pass for $10, children 3 and under $5.00 Bounce House and Blow up Slide (younger kids), Pirate Ship Water Slide (older kids). Kid's Sail Painting - we will have a sail available for the kids to paint on all afternoon, when it's done we will put it up on display for the rest of the weekend (we will have some T-shirts to throw on over the kids clothes, but, older clothes you wouldn't mind paint on would be encouraged - you know that kids can still manage to get paint in the strangest places) Sidewalk Chalk Art - we will have sidewalk chalk available for the kids to show off their artistic abilities on the sidewalks NOTE - Parents must be present when their kids are in the bounce house or the water slides - we will be monitoring the kids, but, please do not leave your kids for us to watch all afternoon :o) Saturday Night Barbecue Steaks, boneless chicken breasts w/sides $15.00 or Hamburger & Chips (no sides) $5.00 Meal and Raffle Ticket sales begin 3:00 pm Meals being served at 5:30 pm Meal service concludes 7:00 pm Please arrive as early as possible for dinner, although we try to have an adequate amount of food, there is no guarantee late-comers will have a selection of side dishes available.
