out our newest offering from Bonneville School of Sailing .
. . if you are thinking of fixing up an old
sailboat or power boat, just want to learn more about care for your own wooden
boat or would like to tackle a complete restorationof a classic wooden runabout
or sailboat, we've got the classes for you. Bonneville's boat building instructor
DeWitt Smith will be teaching techniques and ‘tips from the trades’ of wooden
boat repair and restoration. Classes are
being offered in three parts; you can enroll in one, two or all three
segments. Our classroom now has three project craft: 1963 Chris Craft
Sportsman 17 (a mahogany planked inboard engine runabout) and two Star class 22’
keelboat sailboats.
Classes begin April 12th in the Salt Lake
City classroom

PART 1 Two,
two-hour classes covering history and basic survey of these craft and creating a
plan for their restoration.
